The City of Critterton is a city that appears in The Dynamite Twins and Friends. It is the main setting of the series, in which the Twins and their friends inhabit.

The city began life as an old town called "Critter Gulch". It was founded after the migration out west had ended.
Over time, a seed was planted around the entrance of the old town. In 1927, a declaration was written that reincorporated the town as the "City of Critterton". The plant that sprouted from the seed by then became synonymous with the City, and would be included in the city seal.
